Our Message: Dear Friend, I'm emailing you because I've just added my name to a really important document, The Breastfeeding Manifesto and I believe that you might also like to add your support. The Breastfeeding Manifesto outlines seven key objectives necessary if the UK is to initiate and sustain improvements in infant feeding practice. Working towards these objectives will help to ensure that women, irrespective of their socio-economic or ethnic background, are empowered to breastfeed for as long as they choose and that more babies can enjoy the benefits of their mothers milk. The Manifesto has already achieved has cross-party support but, for it to have the impact at Governmental level that is necessary to ensure it is fully supported and resourced, we ALL need to get involved.
